A new Shopping tab that provides more details about your product snippets, merchant listings, and shopping tab listings in Google Search is now being rolled out by Google within Google Search Console.
You might not notice any changes right away because Google is implementing this “gradually over the following few weeks,” but “qualified online store owners that have embraced product markup will see a new area called Shopping tab listings,” according to Google.
From there, merchants will be able to easily create a Merchant Center account utilizing a streamlined assisted sign-up procedure without having to re-verify website ownership, according to Google. With this new option, merchants just need to keep product structured data up-to-date rather than submitting a product feed. Products will appear more rapidly on Google’s Shopping tab thanks to this improved process, which will also help retailers connect with customers.
